Big impact on Mandelson

We're big fans of social and environmental impact here at Society Media. It's close to our hearts - and central to the work of all our clients. But as a subject, the idea of ‘social return' can seem a little dry and impenetrable.
So over the past few months the Society Media communications and design teams have been supporting Jeremy Nicholls, chief executive of the SROI [social return on investment] Network, and a consortium of other organisations to add some great design and editing value to a new guide to SROI, commissioned by the Cabinet Office.
As well as a super clear layout, we've brought the ideas around SROI to life with a set of colourful illustrations that tell the story of social entrepreneurs on their social reporting journey.

To top it all, a minister who knows all about political impact - Lord Mandelson - launched the guide on 12 May alongside Cabinet Office minister Liam Byrne.
