Social Enterprise magazine

Social Enterprise magazine, which is one of Society Media’s own flagship projects, is designed to bring together the huge range of individuals and organisations in the social enterprise movement in a space where they can learn about and inspire one another – and tell the rest of the world what they’re missing.
Society Media’s directors Tim West and Henry Palmer have been closely involved in the magazine since it was launched in 2002. Tim has been editor since its inception, while Henry has been a regular contributor.
In 2007, Society Media joined forces with its sister graphic design company Glock to acquire and relaunch the magazine and its website with a vision to build a vehicle that inspires, offers practical advice and creates a strong identity for the social enterprise movement as a whole.
After buying the magazine we immediately set in progress an ambitious redesign with a team of designers and journalists from Glock and Society Media. The contemporary design complements its energetic, lively and inspiring copy, generated both by our in-house editorial team and leading figures in the sector.
Liam Black, former chief executive of the Fifteen Foundation, and Social Enterprise columnist, says: “Society Media has created an invaluable vehicle to enable social enterprises to learn and inspire one another.”
Nothing is more valued by our team than the feedback of our readers. As such we offer a free, three-month trial of the magazine. www.socialenterprisemag.co.uk.
